Hunter/Jumper: Penn Natoinal: All Aboard Scores Pennsylvania National Horse Show Sidesaddle Championship - by Esther Morgan

Harrisburg, Penn. - October 20, 2010 - All Aboard turned in a sidesaddle performance with Jill Wilson today that will be a ride to remember. The 16-year-old gray gelding earned the tricolor during what may be his final Harrisburg championship with Wilson, his Louisa County, Virginia-partner who is moving on to a new horse.

Eventing: USEF: Ashley Kehoe Awarded Essex Grant

Gladstone, NJ - The Board of the Essex Trust is proud to announce Ashley Kehoe of Purcellville, VA as the recipient of the Essex Grant; an award in the amount of $5,000.  The Essex Trust is a charitable (501c3) fund initiated by the Trustees of the Essex Horse Trials to further the sport of Eventing both through grants to improve the horsemanship of young riders, and to the organizations which lend support and volunteers to Three Day Event competitions.  The Essex Horse Trials was one of the most prestigious Three Day Events held at the USET's Hamilton Farm in Gladstone, NJ.

Harrisburg, Penn. - October 19, 2010 - Sandra Ferrell of Bernville, Penn. swept the competition aboard Showman, earning top honors as the Grand Green Hunter Champion. Showman is an 8-year-old Westphalian gelding owned by Krista and Alexa Weisman of Sherborn, Mass.

Jumping: Owners Club: Eric Lamaze named as Owner of the Year

For the second year running, Eric Lamaze and John Fleischhacker, joint-owners of the 14 year old bay stallion Hickstead, have been awarded the prestigious title of “Owner of the Year” by the Jumping Owners Club. Hickstead and Canadian rider Eric Lamaze continued their superb form to maintain their position as the most successful horse and rider combination in 2009.

Harrisburg, Penn. - October 18, 2010 - Samantha Perry and Ramazotti sailed through both rounds of the $10,000 North American League (NAL) Children's Hunter Finals at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show topping the score board with a 162 combined score. A single point separated each of the three top finishers.

Hunter/Jumper: Cavalor Hall of Fame: Josephina Nor-Lantzman Named Cavalor Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month for September

Josephina Nor-Lantzman has been named as the Cavalor Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month for September.

Nor-Lantzman competes in the West Conference Amateur-Owner division of the Cavalor Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series aboard Chello Z. The month of September was a huge success for the pair, as they swept first place honors in Series classes held at the Blenheim Fall Tournament and the Showpark All Seasons Summer Classic, earning an impressive 300 points.

Tortilas, the most successful horse in Dressage history and the first horse to ever score above 90,  has  been sold to Paul Schockemöhle of Performance Sales International in Germany.

Harrisburg, Penn. - October 17, 2010 - A total of 208 junior riders came to the 65th Pennsylvania National Horse Show and competed for the prestigious national equitation championship, the Pessoa/USEF Hunter Seat Equitation Medal Finals Presented by Randolph College. It came down to a ride off and exchange of horses between Hayley Barnhill of Collierville, Tenn. and Samantha Schaefer of Westminster, Md. that resulted in the win for Barnhill.

            Fair Hill, MD-October 17, 2010- Hannah Burnett of Ocala, FL, captured the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) CCI*** in a nail-biting finish at the 22nd annual Dansko Fair Hill International Festival in the Country.  Burnett, who won last year's CCI** at Fair Hill, was flawless on Sunday to win on her dressage score of 49.4 penalties, riding St. Barths, owned by Richard Thompson.
