Dressage: Wellington: World Dressage Masters Cancelled for 2011 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival

Wellington, FL - December 1, 2010 - Equestrian Sport Productions (ESP) regrets to announce that the Exquis World Dressage Masters (WDM) will not be held this year at the 2011 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF), which runs for 12 weeks of competition from January 12 to April 3.
Due to scheduling conflicts, many of the world's top ranked dressage riders were unable to travel to Florida to compete in the World Dressage Masters, a five-star dressage competition. WDM has been held with great success at WEF for the past two years, and ESP regrets that they will not be able to hold the competition this year.

"We took the difficult decision to cancel this year's World Dressage Masters, as we were unable to guarantee the participation of the top European riders that had always made the event so successful in the past," said Michael Stone, President of Equestrian Sport Productions. "There are significant costs involved in staging the event, and without the stars participating, we couldn't guarantee a sufficient number of spectators to make the event feasible."

The 2011 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival has 12 weeks of top competition running from January 12 through April 3. WEF is run by Equestrian Sport Productions, LLC, and Wellington Equestrian Partners and held at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center. All 12 shows are "AA" rated and Jumper Rated 6, and more than $6.2 million in prize money will be
awarded.

WEF is proud to be supported by their title sponsor, FTI Consulting, Inc.
